eSlide Manager displays data in lists, which summarize attributes and values. The data lists available depend in part on which data hierarchy you select when logging in to eSlide Manager. Users who select Clinical will see menus with options for displaying Cases and Specimens in list format, whereas Research users will see options for listing Projects instead of cases and Genie users will have the option to list Genie Projects and Training Sets. Although there are differences between data elements available in eSlide Manager, in general, the list view pages look the same throughout the application and provide the same basic options. eSlide Manager list pages:
can be accessed by selecting them from a menu on the main menu bar.
allow you to display all data of a type in tabular, text format (list view) or graphic format (folder view), search all data items on the list or add new data items.
allow you to select one or more items (such as an eSlides or cases) to view more information.
enable you to execute commands and perform actions on the list data.
execute commands on several items by processing them in batch mode.
To View Data in List Format:
Go a data type menu (such as Class, Project, or Specimen) in the menu bar and click the All [Data type] As List option.
The list view containing all data items appears. At the top of the list is a header that contains a master check box, which allows you to select all items in the list.
You can use values in any of the columns to sort data by those criteria. Clicking the column header to sort the data list in ascending or descending order. For example to sort cases by hospital, click Hospital in the data header and it will sort the list by hospital name from A to Z. Click it again to reverse the sort order.
