To edit a specimen that you have added to eSlide Manager previously, you follow the same steps you do in adding the specimen. The primary differences are:
On the list or folder view page for specimens, you select an existing specimen by checking the box beside it, and click Open Data rather than New.
In some fields on the Specimen Details page, you'll be modifying existing data, whereas when you add a specimen initially, all of the fields are blank. If you did not enter data into some of the fields when you added the specimen, you may do so while editing the Specimen Details page. (See Adding a New Specimen for more information.)
You can also edit the Digital Slides Details Pages by scrolling down or the parent Case, Project or Course Details page by scrolling up.
If you do not have permission to modify this page, you will not be able to make changes to it.

When you edit the details or add a new data element, you can add or make changes in related data elements. When you open a parent or grandparent record, for example, you can make changes in the child elements. When you edit a child element, the parent element can be modified as well. |
