Editing a Slide

To edit an eSlide that you have added to eSlide Manager previously, you follow the same steps you do in adding the slide.  The primary differences are:

  1. On the list or folder view page for eSlides, select an existing slide by checking the box beside it, and clicking Open Data rather than New.

  2. In some fields on the Slide Details page, you'll be modifying existing data, whereas when you add a slide initially, all of the fields are blank.  If you did not enter data into some of the fields when you added the eSlide, you may do so while editing the Slide Details page.  (See Adding a New Slide for more information.)

You can also edit the Specimen Details page or the parent Case, Project or Course Details page by scrolling up.

If you do not have permission to modify this page, you will not be able to make changes to it.

When you edit the details or add a new data element, you can add or make changes in related data elements.  When you open a parent or grandparent record, for example, you can make changes in the child elements.  When you edit a child element, the parent element can be modified as well.
