When you click Add on the Users page, the User Details window appears. The top pane contains a form for entering such User Details as:
login name
full name
phone number
e-mail address
password and password verification, and
password expiration parameters
force the user to change his or her password at next login?
disable license warnings?
The lower window pane allows you to specify the new user's permission settings by assigning him or her to roles and data groups. All possible roles and data groups, their descriptions and, if applicable, data hierarchies are shown in tabular form. To set permission levels, do the following:
To grant the new user permissions associated with a particular role, click the Assign to User check box for that role.
To set access levels based on data groups, select the appropriate access level (No Access, Read-Only, or Full Control) from the drop-down list beside each group of which the new user is a member.
Click Save to keep your changes and add the new user.
